Increase biodiversity

  1. Develop a Learnscape plan as part of the School Environmental Management Plan (SEMP).
  2. Integrate biodiversity resources into the school curriculum.
  3. Establish garden zones in the school grounds.
  4. Plant native endemic trees and shrubs.
  5. Survey plant and animal populations in school grounds.
  6. Control weeds in school grounds.
  7. Create an organic permaculture garden with vegetables and herbs.
  8. Build a chicken coop in the school grounds.
  9. Use compost from school canteen on the gardens.
  10. Promote biodiversity conservation in the local community.
