Tertiary and Non-State Education

Tertiary and Non-State Education (TANSE) provides policy advice, quality assurance, regulation and accreditation services in the higher education, vocational education and training, non-state and home education sectors, and in relation to the provision and promotion of courses to international students in Queensland. Divisional staff also support Queensland's ongoing participation in the Australian Music Examinations system.

Positive outcomes are achieved through maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, including with providers and peak bodies (such as universities, the Training and Employment Recognition Council, Independent Schools Queensland, the Queensland Catholic Education Commission and the Home Education Advisory Committee).

TANSE staff provide policy advice and have a key advocacy role for Queensland in national and inter-governmental forums.
