TAFE Teachers, Tutors and Educational Administrators now have an opportunity to vote on the proposed Department of Education and Training TAFE Educational Employees' Certified Agreement 2009.
TAFE Teachers, Tutors and Educational Administrators will receive a ballot package containing information on the proposed agreement and a ballot paper in the mail during the week commencing 14 September 2009, with the ballot commencing on Wednesday 16 September 2009.
TAFE Teachers, Tutors and Educational Administrators are required to complete the ballot paper and return it in the supplied reply-paid envelope by first mail on Wednesday 7 October 2009.
If the majority vote is in favour of the agreement, the Department will proceed to have the replacement certified agreement certified by the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission (QIRC).
Following certification of the agreement, TAFE Teacher, Tutor and Educational Administrator salaries will be adjusted to incorporate the proposed wage increase of 4.5% from 1 August 2009.
