Skills Treasury Registration Process

Thank you for your interest in sharing your technical, professional or trade skills.
Please complete the following steps to register your interest to teach in TAFE Queensland.

TAFE Queensland includes 11 TAFE Institutes and 2 statutory TAFE authorities that are located across Queensland including remote locations.

By selecting the Sunshine Coast Institute of TAFE (overseas trainer opportunities) under desired places to work, you can also register your interest in teaching overseas in Papua New Guinea, Samoa and Fiji where automotive, construction, electrical and manufacturing teachers are in demand. The following steps should be followed when completed the registration form:

Step 1 - Choose whether you seek employment within the professional/technical or trade teacher categories.

If unsure of your selection options, please review the Professional/Technical teaching areas under weblinks.

Step 2 - Teaching areas

Based on your selection at step one, you will now be able to select your area of expertise. If you have more than one, please register separately for each one.

Step 3 - Identify your specialty areas

Based on your selection at step two, you will be able to select one or more specialties within your area of expertise.

Step 4 - Choosing a work location

Based on your selection at step three, you will be able to select one or more TAFE Institutes that teach your speciality area.

Step 5 - Confirming your availability to work at all campuses associated with your Institute choice.

Upon selecting from the institutes listed at Step 4, you will notice a list of campuses associated with those institutes. You will maximize your engagement opportunities by leaving the boxes ticked, however if you prefer not to nominate or work at a listed campus, you should deselect the appropriate boxes.

Steps 6 – Complete the remaining fields in the form and select submit.
