

Members of Evaluation Services are available to support evaluation teams with advice on evaluations. This includes assisting teams in identifying the key issues to be considered in an evaluation, forming governance structures, scheduling and resourcing details, evaluation methodology, data collection and design methods, and guidance with the department's approval process and requirements.
To build capability in evaluation, Evaluation Services host several professional development opportunities that includes:
All professional development sessions are advertised to staff via web bulletin board announcements and flyers. Workshop and Master Class places are limited.
Evaluation Services provides professional guidance in the development of Program Logic models - the department's preferred framework for designing and directing evaluations. Customised Program Logic modelling sessions for the project or program being evaluated are available. These collaborative sessions can include evaluation experts, program managers and project officers, evaluation teams and key stakeholders.
A toolkit has also been developed with easy to follow templates and information fact sheets to assist departmental staff through the various phases of an evaluation.
