Strategic Plan

Consultation of the Draft Department of Education, Training and Employment 2014-2018 Strategic Plan

The Department of Education, Training and Employment (DETE) Strategic Plan provides a 4 year outlook for the department describing our strategic direction, priorities, outcomes and measures of success. The plan reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering the best possible early years, education and training services and outcomes for Queenslanders.

The plan is reviewed and updated each year by the department to ensure that it is reflective of current and emerging contexts and expectations. An important part of this process is to develop our plan with input from our customers, partners and stakeholders. We invite your input to help shape and improve our forward planning.

This strategic plan connects our activities with our key reform initiatives of Great teachers = Great results and Great skills. Real opportunities External Link. Changing how we work together will create new opportunities for innovation across the learning spectrum and the way we deliver services. Our challenge is to make sure our practices are informed by evidence and that we work collaboratively across the system to share and learn from each other.
