Solid partners Solid futures 746K is the Queensland Government's plan to improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders. It adopts a new partnership approach to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students engage in learning in their pathway from 'crayon to career'.
Solid partners Solid futures is the result of consultation with key organisations, individuals and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Queensland.
An initial consultation report 2.2M, released in March 2013, outlined issues raised at a Minister's consultation forum for the development of the new plan to improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders, held in December 2012. The report also presented proposed future directions for broader consultation and discussion.
A discussion paper 645K, released in March 2013, formed the basis of discussion and ideas for the new plan. Feedback from this process assisted the development of Solid partners Solid futures.
The second consultation report 808K outlined the process and outcomes of consultation during April 2013.
