Learn Earn Legend Indigenous Education Forum

"Every day, every student is learning and achieving"

Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, 13 - 15 September 2010

The Commonwealth and Queensland Government jointly planned a forum to bring together a range of key stakeholders to take forward the closing the gap agenda for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students of Queensland.

The forum provided a series of keynote presentations and interactive workshops that follow from the six domains of the draft Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Action Plan 2010-2014 Adobe PDF document External Link.

Stronger Smarter Getting Closer DVD launch

A highlight of the forum was the launch of this DVD by prominent Indigenous educator Dr Chris Sarra, along with the Department of Education and Training's Assistant Director-General Ian Mackie, and the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations Queensland State Manager Catherine O'Sullivan.
