In Queensland, more than 95% of early childhood education and care services are owned and operated by people and groups affiliated with peak bodies within the early childhood sector.
These organisations can assist with the recruitment of staff, including early childhood teachers, in early childhood education and care settings and include the following:
Family day care services
Family Day Care Association Queensland 
Outside school hours care services
Queensland Children's Activities Network
Long day care services
Childcare Queensland
Kindergarten services
Five central governing bodies (CGBs) are approved to support Queensland kindergarten services to provide quality kindergarten programs:
Queensland Catholic Education Commission
Queensland Lutheran Early Childhood Services
Independent Schools Queensland
