Licensing policies and procedures

Policies and procedures used by the Department of Education, Training and Employment (the department) in the implementation of the Child Care Act 2002 and the Child Care Regulation 2003 are available in the department's policy and procedures register.

These policies direct the decision-making of the department to meet its statutory obligations in the licensing of child care services.
