Offering a safe, fun and supportive environment for children to learn and grow, the thousands of services that make up the early childhood education and care sector in Queensland all play an integral role in supporting their communities.

Queensland services are currently experiencing an environment of reform and, together with the Department of Education and Training, the following key initiatives are currently being implemented:

National Quality Framework - a new integrated national approach to quality education and care.

Universal access to early childhood education - ensuring every child can access a kindergarten program.
