Service providers for children and family centres in Queensland

Families in Logan, Palm Island and Rockhampton are set to benefit from the wide range of early childhood services available at new children and family centres opening in 2012. These three new centres join six centres already being established in Mornington Island, Doomadgee, Mount Isa, Mareeba, Cairns and Ipswich.

Children and family centres will be operated in the following locations by:

Logan - Ganyjuu Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation Family Support Service
Palm Island - Palm Island Community Company Limited (PICC)
Rockhampton - Bidgerdii Community Health Service, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders Corporation

Services are scheduled to commence from temporary premises in early 2012 and from permanent premises later in 2012.

Mornington Island - Save the Children Australia
Doomadgee - Save the Children Australia
Mount Isa - Roman Catholic Trust Corporation For The Diocese of Townsville
Mareeba - Mulungu Aboriginal Corporation Medical Centre
Cairns - Wuchopperen Health Service Limited
Ipswich - Kambu Medical Centre Ipswich

Services being provided from temporary premises and will be available from permanent premises from mid to late 2012.
