ACECQA sector support and families packs

The Australian Government distributed two National Quality Framework (NQF) packs in December, including:

1. Sector support folder

This went to all licensed services in Queensland and included:

• Guide to the National Quality Framework
• Guide to the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011
• Guide to the National Quality Standard
• Guide to Developing a Quality Improvement Plan .

2. Pack for families

Each licensed service received 100 copies to distribute to families including:

• Letter from Commonwealth Minister Peter Garrett and 'A great start in life for Australian kids' pamphlet looking at the current national reforms in ECEC
• NQF post card for families
• A4 flyer detailing key messages from the 'Engaging families in Early Childhood Development Story' research
• A4 flyer outlining essential information about childcare payments for families.

The ACECQA website now includes a section dedicated to families.
