The Education and Care Services National Law Bill is available on the Victorian Government's legislation website, under Parliamentary Documents. The national legislation is the first major milestone in implementing the NQF.
The Council of Australian Governments (COAG) is the peak intergovernmental forum in Australia consisting of the Prime Minister and all state and territory Premiers or First Ministers. The role of COAG is to initiate, develop and monitor the implementation of policy reforms that are of national significance and which require cooperative action by Australian governments. Through COAG, every state and territory government and the Commonwealth have committed to making early childhood an area for national reform.
