

A national authority for early childhood education and care - the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority
(ACECQA), monitors the implementation of the National Quality Framework (NQF).
ACECQA's core focus is to ensure national improvements in quality to early childhood education and care across Australia. It is governed by a 13 member Board, with one member nominated by each state and territory, four members nominated by the Commonwealth and one independent Chair.
