Reading to young children

Research shows reading to children from an early age helps develop language, thinking and literacy skills at home and in the classroom.

Make reading together a special time and you'll encourage your child's love for learning.

Let's Read

The Let's Read program External Link is designed to encourage parents/carers to have fun reading with young children (aged 4 months, 12 months, 18 months and 3.5 years).

Books for children aged 0-5

There are many great books for children aged 0-5 available from one of Queensland's more than 300 local libraries. Search for your local library External Link.
