Vacation care access services are stand alone services which provide care for school age children during school holiday periods. These services do not meet certain conditions necessary to receive Child Care Benefit. The Queensland Government funds eligible vacation care services that provide vacation care access for children with a disability or children in isolated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The services located in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities offer supervised care, as well as family support and cultural enrichment activities.
