Guidelines

Guidelines provide information that assists a user to undertake a procedure or process. It includes:

• Best Practice Guides
• Checklists
• Fact, Information or Tip Sheets
• Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
• Manuals
• Work instructions

Where a guideline has been developed in association with a procedure, the guideline may also be located on the Department's Procedure Register.

The Department's guidelines can be found at:

• Queensland Government / Department / Corporate - includes agreements made with the Australian Government (e.g. National Partnerships), strategic plans and documents relating to finance, ICT and human resources (including teachers)
• Infrastructure
• Early Childhood Education and Care
• School Education (Prep to Year 12)
• Tertiary Education - including higher education, TAFE, Vocational Education and Training (VET), apprentices and trainees and higher education.
